Father's Day Celebration

We had a belated FD dinner last night as the fellas were out of town on the given Sunday earlier in the month.

As is often the case, we had many different activities going on as dinner preparations were being made.

We had pictures being displayed on the T.V. some laughter, the usual sillness, and some were playing with Abby. A good time was had by all up til dinner time.

It was at this time, before asking Jonathan to say the blessing, I casually mentioned my post from Fri night, where I stated a certain son in-law was the leading candidate for Son In-Law of The Year award in part for all his help getting the new Kitchenaid into the house.

You would have thought it was a new bicentennial celebration as the fireworks exploded in bright colors and sizes, but this time they were heard as words, instead of their usual form. No one was hurt, and as is usually the case with fireworks, it was spectacular to witness.

Sparing the details, it was amusing to me and once the dust settled and we began to eat.

Thank you to ALL for your contributions and thank you for coming.

I failed to take a single picture EXCEPT for the pics I took of Abby.
