Had a GREAT day for a Race Sat. Sept. 26, 2009 as the PullinMooreTrout team came prepared and ready to Race!
Meeting in the U of Akron Law School parking lot @ 6:00 a.m., there were a few obstacles to overcome, even before the starting gun was fired (see barricade below that Jason moved to allow access into the lot, later protected by the Po-po.
The team finished 370th of 970 Relay teams, an OUTSTANDING Introduction into an event that might very well become another
Pullin Tradition.
Jon led all family members running at a 7:05 pace for 13 miles!! Way to GO Jon.
Jamie had the next leg (5.7 miles) at a 9:84 pace
Jules received the baton and ran (6.3 miles) at 10:07
Carol was next, running the reputed hardest (100% uphill) leg (2.78 miles) at 11:15
Sarah continues to amaze us, anchoring (7.52 miles) the team at 8:26
A special Thank You to the U of Akron Law School for letting us use the parking lot and the Facilities.
FYI, (in case I've not already told you personally) Julie enters this second year ranked 3rd in her class of 100
(The photo of the Non-PMT runner was to show one of the dozens runners who had a similarly colered green shirt)
