Not sure if anyone is going to recall, but this past Christmas the mothership had mentioned perhaps instead of doing the exchanging of gifts, we go somewhere/do something as a family. It wasn't really talked about much, but I for one think it is a great idea. I see the memories being created lasting longer and being far more valuable then anything we could get for one another.. We could do things like trips to kalhari (in Sandusky) the zoo, etc..
Just throwing it out there for discussion!

Who posted the original post, and who voted for gifts?
Identifying oneself is something that needs improvement. I know the author often thinks "everyone will know", but that's not always the case.
Matters not to me, one way or the other, however your Mom CHANGED her opinion AFTER our Christmas celebration, saying that she Really enjoyed seeing and hearing all the banter going back and forth.

It was I, the favorite Uncle Speedo :) This will probably be split, I'm guessing.. Who knows, maybe a trip or two could be to the ATX!
