As most of you are aware, Jason and I hunted Deer for the first time. It was a successful day, with my small buck arriving, then leaving, then arriving again, before meeting his demise about 7:15 a.m. ("Official Opening of the Day began at 6:57 a.m.) Jason killed his MASSIVE Eight Point, about 4:15 p.m. So, while that old adage about the early bird gets the worm (sorta) applys here, the later bird got a MUCH Bigger Worm!!
The following photos give a (quite) descriptive view of our hunting experience.
IF you are the type that are squeamish when seeing blood, then you might wish to skip the remainder of this post (and also the previous one)!
The first few photos are of my Ground Blind. The house shown is in the first photo, directly behind where the blind was stationed.
Jason was positioned in a 360 degree rotating free standing chair, approximately 15 feet above the ground. He was located directly south of the rear corner of the garage. He replaced the old tired cammo netting with some new, revitalized "fresh" netting.
Fortunately, we never had to use the outhouse, it was for "atmosphere" only!
Here I am cleaning off my new Christmas present from Frankie.
For those of you who "can't get enough" of these action packed photos, I believe there are more that can be shared upon request!
So............................ WHO thinks they can Upstage THIS Series of Posts?
BRING It!!
