Stainless Induction Range, Glenwood OH

I've been checking the Best Buy private auction for awhile now for a specific range. No luck yet on that one range, but expiring in four and a half days is a *great* range - presently at an absolute steal of a price.

It's electric induction which means (fair warning!) that you'll probably need to replace all your pots and pans with one that are "compatible) with electric induction. You can test if yours are compatible by holding a magnet to the bottom of your pots/pans. If the magnet sticks, you're in business.... if not, you'd need new pans. This is the technology that boils a pot of water in 90 seconds and isn't hot to the touch if you accidentaly lean on the heating element. Pretty cool. I don't know what retail is on this unit, but I've never seen induction for sub $2k.
