Please welcome the newest additions to the family!

Please welcome the newest edition to the Pullin family.... Patricia and Petunia Pullin! They're the ones with stripes on the back. Patricia and Petunia are taking up residence just down the street from the TexasCru® with three other friends. They're both chicks and we're expecting one egg a day from each in three to four months. Ohmanwecantwait. Next time y'all stop by we'll be ready to do up some eggs whatever style you want.... fried, over easy, scrambled, poached (my favorite right now - we'll see what two eggs a day for a few months does for me)....

Welcome Patricia and Pentunia!

Where "down the street" are the chickens bunking? Do you have to feed them everyday or is that provided for them at the ranch? How much do live baby chickens cost in the ATX?

Congrat's on the newest members of the family. As some of you know, I was also quite interested in "having chickens" , even going so far as to contact the MF law director. His ONLY word of caution, was "Roosters can be cited for being a nuisense, if disturbing the neighbors". I don't want no stinkin Roosters! This project (in MF) has been temoparily put on hold.

poached are very delicous. I suggest for best results, you use a specific pan used for egg poaching. Takes em about 3:15 to be cooked to perfection.
