Shift Survery

Since it seems that there won't be any first shift openings at work anytime soon, I am debating switching to third shift. The hours would be 10:30pm-7:00am.

I am thinking about doing this because this way I would be able to see more of the fam, because I wouldn't need to leave for work till 9:30. I know it would be an adjustment from what I've been doing, but I think I'd be able to handle it.

The Days of third operation are Sunday-Thurs, and they Get Friday and Saturday off.

What do you fellas think?

The Bookman.

I don't know speedo....the graveyard shift has lots of health risks. (There was just a story about it on the Today show.) How much more of the family will you really see if you're sleeping while everyone else is home?

At least with this shift now you have a somewhat "normal" sleep schedule.

West sider says......speaking from experience, I would say NO WAY!! Justin my first question to you is how long have you stayed at one job on one shift on one task? Part of starting at an entry level position is learning a task, excelling and then moving on/up. Learn every position on your shift and then consider moving. Part of being a valuable asset or commodity/employee is having the knowledge to get the job done in crunch time. Bottom line, learn a trait so well that your boss wants to move you so your skills will shine!!

3rd shift would be really hard bro. I think that it might be a good idea to stick with what you are doing for a while.
