Yesterday on our Miata ride, your Mom & I made a usual stop at a Starbucks for some Joe.
Upon receiving my drink, I suddenly realized I had made a mistake.
I meant to order an iced drink, but failed to mention that during the ordering process.
I told the barista to just pour it over ice and it would be fine. We bantered back and forth, "I should make you a new one, this one won't taste right", "No, it'll be fine, just pour it over ice, it was MY fault".
As I pushed the drink towards him, things all happened so fast I can hardly descibe what transpired next.
Suffice it to say, your Mom has an all new appreciation for the expression" Hot Coffee to Go"
Kinda put a damper on the rest of our ride, with your Mom occasionaly becoming more vocal (over the tunes playing on the radio) asking to go home.
It reminds me of another time when.............. oh, I'll save that for another day.
