There is a Doubletree Hotel (Doubletree Hotel Austin - University Area) about 3 miles from our house (at first I typed out house!). If you book online and pay in advance, the rate is $89/night. This hotel comes with free parking and complimentary high-speed internet access throughout the hotel. If you google map the address of the hotel, it doesn't show the correct address but I drove by the hotel this morning and verified that it is a quick 3 mile drive from our house (and probably about 25 - 30 miles to the wedding venue).
